Songs are a dime a dozen, good songs take a little digging, and great songs are truly rare--finding and recognizing them for what they are is the heart of our mission as a company.
Along the way, many friendships are forged, countless hours are spent perfecting the process, and hopefully, our culture will be influenced by the musical gems we are able to unearth.
But ultimately, it's not about the process; it's all about the song. And the incredible journey for "that song" continues here every day.
You will notice on our Resources page that one of the things we ask for with submissions are the names of specific artists for whom the songwriter believes each song is appropriate. We don't do that to bypass part of our job (even though, if we believe a song is right for an artist whose name isn't supplied, we'll submit it to them anyway), but we feel it is important to know the heart of the songwriter--and we've found that, most often, writers' instincts about their own songs are typically spot on.
That's why we rarely have a problem supplying the writer's rough demo for consideration (but there are exceptions to that).
For those rare occasions when we feel a rough demo from the writer simply will not suffice for a particular song, we have the facilities and ability to offer a fully produced studio demo.
Rest assured, your masterpiece will receive the royal treatment it deserves from our state of the art recording and producing team.
